Is Winter in Osaka Really Cold? A Polish Roommate and Origami

JOURNAL|TESEN

Lately, it’s been really cold in Osaka. How is everyone doing? I find myself saying “It’s so cold!” every single day, but the other day, a Polish roommate at my share house told me, “This temperature isn’t cold at all,” and gently scolded me with a laugh. In his hometown, winter temperatures drop to around -15℃.

Well… I guess if you’re used to that, complaining about 2 or 3℃would definitely sound ridiculous! So, if Osaka’s winter isn’t actually that cold, the best way to spend it is staying at home and doing origami. I wonder do other countries even have origami? It sounds like so much fun.

I actually find myself visiting cold places more often than you might expect. The photo on my profile was taken in Nagano during a heavy snowfall. After enjoying a sauna, I jumped into a cold bath at 3℃.
From a Polish perspective, though, even a 3 degree cold plunge might still feel a bit warm. hehe
