International Share House in Osaka｜Friendly Staff, Global Community & Only 12 Minutes to Umeda

Perfect environment for both introverts and extroverts. I’m really glad I chose to come to the share house rather than living alone.

The staff were always responsive and happy to help. When I needed help checking my bags had been sent correctly to my next destination, the staff went out of their way to call the company for me and check.

Atmosphere
Excellent

The housemates were really welcoming and there was a mix of people from all over the world. There is always someone to talk to in the communal areas and there is usually someone who speaks Japanese and English to help with translating or some language tips. It was also possible to spend time alone so it was a perfect environment for introverts and extraverts. I am really glad that I came to the sharehouse rather than staying alone. In addition, housemates sometimes organise dinners on weekends which is a great way to get to know each other better. Despite being a bit older than most people at the house, I always felt like I fit in as people were very friendly.

Cleanliness
Excellent

The reality of living with 20+ people was much better than I was anticipating. For the most part everyone cleaned up after themselves and the cleaners did a great job. But it also felt lived in and comfortable. There were never any queues for the showers or bathrooms.

Very close to the station and it was a lot of fun to live in a street full of small, specialty shops. The bakery, fruit store and a few of the cafes were excellent.
